Description

The only difference between the PowerBook 140 and the PowerBook 145 was the speed.  The 16MHz processor had been improved to 25MHz.

History

Following on the success of the Powerbook 140, the PowerBook 145 was a simple upgrade that maximized improvements in technology for $2,150.  The 145B was identical to the PowerBook 145.  The only difference was the lower price, $1,300.

Timeline

The PowerBook 145 was introduced in August of 1992.  The PowerBook 145B was introduced with the lower price in June of 1993 and was discontinued in July of 1994.
